Progressive Ordering

ChoicePoint's innovative Progressive Ordering model helps accelerate hiring cycles by providing employers with a method of filtering out ineligible applicants early in the screening process.

Using our recommended progressive screening package, which includes many of ChoicePoint's vast product selection, background checks are automatically processed in a cascading or "progressive" order starting with instant searches first, such as a Social Security Number Verification (SSNV) and instant criminal database searches, before moving to more in-depth screening. Packages can be customized to meet a company's needs.

At any stage, if the results do not meet a company's pre-determined screening or hiring guidelines, the process is immediately terminated without ordering the remaining searches. A company saves time by not focusing on candidates who don't meet a specific criteria.
