FraudFocus Explorer helps claims professionals uncover and interpret the relationships and patterns hidden within their data, displaying them in intuitive maps and charts through either link analysis and visualization or geo-location.
FraudFocus Explorer Link Analysis and Visualization is an integrated, Web-based application that helps identify links between seemingly unrelated claims indicating collusion or fraud rings. The results are then displayed visually for faster identification and analysis. The platform can also run pre-defined queries to identify situations within the data that warrant visualization.
FraudFocus Explorer Geo-Location visualizes claims data geographically and creates maps and reports that merge and present relevant information. With Geo-Location, insurance data can be mapped against multiple layers and compare claims against weather patterns, demographics and infrastructure datasets. Some of the other layers include policy address, accident location, crime statistics and satellite and aerial imagery.
As part of the comprehensive FraudFocus solution, Link Analysis and Visualization, powered by i2, brings clarity to complex investigations by "connecting the dots" between claimants, medical providers, attorneys, and other entities involved in suspicious activities. Utilizing filtering queries to identify patterns and pre-process the data, FraudFocus then presents only meaningful situations for visualization.

The FraudFocus Geo-Location product, powered by iMapData, allows insurance carriers to visualize claims data geographically by creating maps and reports that merge and present relevant information. In this way, spatial patterns can be visualized that might not readily be recognized in tabular data.
